Saro Drumstick

Saro Drumstick

Saro Drumsticks can be used to make a variety of curry dishes by mixing with coconut, poppy seeds and mustard.

They could also be boiled until they are semi-soft and consumed directly. Drum sticks are believed to have been first identified in the foot hills of the great Himalayas, but today can be found in the backyard of a south Indian home.

The cultivation and consumption of drumsticks is huge in India and are used in curries, sambars, Kormas, dals, and also added a flavor in cutlets.
